This past Saturday, MyPath hosted its Night at the Races fundraiser at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Family Center in Niles, Ohio — and it was a winning evening for everyone involved!

With around 50 enthusiastic participants, guests placed bets on virtual horse races featuring fan-favorite contenders like Horsing Around, Hay Girl, and Mane Man, creating a lively and entertaining atmosphere throughout the night. Between races, attendees enjoyed several raffle drawings, adding to the excitement and community spirit.

Before the races kicked off, guests settled in at their tables and enjoyed a delicious meal catered by A Fresh Wind Catering LLC of Youngstown, Ohio. The menu included spiced chicken, mac and cheese, green beans, pasta salad, and rolls — a comforting and crowd-pleasing spread.

The back wall of the banquet hall was lined with beautifully arranged sponsored baskets, generously donated by Kent State Trumbull, Old Forge Candle Co., and Travco Marketing and Sales, along with additional baskets contributed by supportive board members.

Proceeds from the event will directly support the MyPath Scholarship, which awards $1,000 to seniors graduating from MyPath’s in-school or out-of-school programs, as well as MyPath’s general support fund for both Trumbull and Mahoning counties.

It was an evening full of fun, friendly competition, and community support — all for a great cause!
