Serving with Pride – AmeriCorps 2019-2020 College Guides

It has been a very busy year for our AmeriCorps College Guides, whose service year began on August 1, 2019.  Serving Warren G Harding, Youngstown East, Chaney and Youngstown Rayen Early College, they have met individually with more than 700 individual students and are on pace to meet or exceed the numbers from 2018-2019.  In November Kristen Chilson, a graduate of Kent State University, joined us on a part-time basis to serve at Warren G Harding.  They have provided several days of service, including a journaling program thanking veterans for their service and a joint effort with the Ohio Reading Corps on the Martin Luther King Holiday.  Read more about them here.
