Since 2002, MyPath has supported graduating high school seniors with scholarships in the amount $1000 toward their post-high school education. Scholarships are open to any student who has participated in MyPath programming or advising, who demonstrate financial need. MyPath currently provides programming and services in Youngstown City Schools, Warren City Schools and Campbell City Schools.

MyPath Last Dollar Scholarship Requirements

  • Student has participated in MyPath programs at a partner school during their senior year.
  • Is in good academic standing and is graduating during the application year.
  • Student has completed their FAFSA.
  • Has applied and been accepted to a 2-year or 4-year college/ university, or a technical/vocational program for the fall of 2021.
  • Can provide the following supportive documents:
    • High School Transcript
    • Acceptance Letter from institution you will attend
    • Copy of SAR (Student Aid Report) from FAFSA Filing
    • Copy of FAA (Financial Aid Award) Letter from the institution you will attend.
  • The deadline to apply is in mid-March.

MyPath 2nd Year Last Dollar Scholarship

This is for second year college students who received a MyPath Last Dollar Scholarship in 2020. Recipients of The George L. Madigan Fund or Trumbull County Scholarships in 2020 also qualify. Click here for more information and to download the application.

Additional MyPath Community Scholarship Opportunities

The George L. Madigan Fund Scholarship – in partnership with the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley. Awarded each year to graduating seniors who meet the following criteria:

  • Student is ranked in the second 10% of the class at the end of the 1st semester of their senior year.
  • Student demonstrates financial need.
  • Student is a resident of Trumbull County, Ohio.

The Charles and Priscilla Latham Scholarship Fund – Warren G. Harding students who are interested in the Charles and Priscilla Latham Scholarship Fund should complete the MyPath Last Dollar Scholarship Application.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Accepted to any college or university for the upcoming fall semester
  • Student must be enrolled at the public schools of the City of Warren

The John D. Finnegan Scholarship, Youngstown State University – Students attending Youngstown State University who are interested in The John D, Finnegan Scholarship should complete the MyPath Last Dollar Scholarship Application.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Accepted to Youngstown State University
  • Live in Trumbull or Mahoning County
  • Minority student

The John S. and Doris M. Andrews Scholarship, Youngstown State University – Students attending Youngstown State University who are interested in the John S. and Doris M. Andrews Scholarship should complete the MyPath Last Dollar Scholarship Application.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Accepted to Youngstown State University
  • Live in Trumbull or Mahoning County
  • Minority student

The Trumbull County Scholarship Fund – MyPath awards the Trumbull County Scholarship Fund to graduating seniors in Trumbull County. Preference is given to those students who have been in foster care at any point in their life, and who demonstrate financial need.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Live in Trumbull County.
  • Are in foster care, or were in foster care previous to senior year of high school.
  • Have demonstrated financial need.
